Wii Music Game Tips for the Family

When you talk about a Wii music game, the first thing that comes to mind is Guitar Hero or Rock Band. Here you are either playing the guitar or drums for the most part, going along with the notes they give you. Have you ever thought about using a different instrument for your Wii music game? It is possible if you just play the family version instead of those other two high profile ones.

Introduce Your Children to Different Instruments

Growing up, one of the things that children enjoy most is trying out different activities. Whether it's basketball, ballet, building things, or learning to play a musical instrument, kids have a knack for being intrigued by just about anything. If they want to learn to play an instrument we highly recommend letting them enjoy the Wii music game. Overall there are 60 instruments you or your kids can try to play.

It will allow the children to narrow down the field, where they can figure out which instrument is their favorite. The Wii music game is so popular that teachers in the music department are bringing it to the classrooms. We're pretty sure this is going to change the landscape of how music will be taught within the next 10 years.

The Custom Jam

Deep within the Wii music game you will be allowed to choose a Custom Jam. This gives you the opportunity to work on each instrument group and choose one that molds with the others. When you first work on this section it can be a little overwhelming, but this is only because you have so many instruments to choose on the game. However, your favorite songs can be played with some interesting combinations.

The Large Database of Songs

When we first started playing around with the Wii music game, it was hard to believe they had such a large variety of songs available. Probably the most entertaining was being able to play theme songs of other games like Mario Bros. Granted, we were more into the Call of Duty 4 soundtrack, but this was definitely worth taking the time to play in the game.

Why It's Great for the Whole Family

Let's put it this way, a three or four year old child could have all kinds of fun with the Wii music game. It's a fantastic way for the young ones to learn early stage coordination skills as well as realizing they can make music. Who wouldn't want to have that kind of entertainment right in the comfort of your own home? Can you imagine the digital pictures you can enjoy just by watching someone play the Wii music game?
